SHAMBALA – Original. Acrylic and gold leaf on canvas, 150x100x4 cm (60x40x1.5 in), 2020

This original artwork uses a unique combination of acrylic paint and gold leaf on stretched canvas. The artwork is signed on the front, provided with a certificate of authenticity and is sold framed, ready to hang.

On the bottom left corner of the picture, we see 2 human-like silhouettes, covered in purple cloaks, standing in front a golden throne, also the bottom step of a white liquid/snowy block of stairs going up, towards the upper right corner of the image, and across the white surface of the stair side, some human-like silhouettes being poured down with this white liquid falling down on them. Syona called that, “Shambala”, a reference maybe to the mythical Kingdom of Shambala, believed to exist in the Himalaya Mountains, where all citizens allegedly have achieved enlightenment - the embodiment of Tibetan Buddhist perfection.
