CONCEPT
In this painting, Syona re-creates a “birds-eye” view over a popular neighbourhood in South London, where each block of flats is painted in a different colour. With a savvy mixture of acrylic and IPA, Syona creates a “water-stain” effect, suggesting her own memory filter over the view.
