CURATOR’S VIEW: The painting titled "Clearing," depicts a serene forest scene with a clearing bathed in the warm, golden light of what appears to be either dawn or dusk. Tall, slender trees dominate the composition, their trunks leading the eye to the illuminated clearing that suggests a sense of hope or discovery. The forest is rendered in varying shades of green with hints of brown and yellow, creating a natural and peaceful atmosphere. The style is impressionistic, with loose brush strokes and a focus on the interplay of light and shadow, reminiscent of the works of Claude Monet. The material is a mix of acrylic paint and IPA alcohol ink on canvas, with the texture of the brushwork adding to the vibrancy and depth of the forest setting.

Like a dream veiled in morning mist, my strokes evoke a sense of tranquillity and mystery, inviting contemplation. This artwork reflects a journey of clearing the mind, a serene escape that will infuse any space with a calming energy.
